ENCOURAGING WOMEN TO LIVE FROM FEAR TO FAITH
Welcome

Women on the Wings of Faith is an inner-denominational group of Christian Women who enjoy sharing and spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. We meet once a month, (every 4th Wednesday of the month). Meetings are held  at Tomahawk Community Bank in the upstairs Community Room starting at 6:30 p.m. Our meetings consist of Book ideas, Videos from Women of Faith Conferences., Joyce Meyer, and Edward John just to name a few. We have speakers occasionally who will come and share different topics with us. We feel that God has blessed us and that He is leading us as He brings us opportunities of sharing Jesus with other women. By God's grace we hope to help other women live from Fear to Faith! 

This group was started 6 years ago and is still growing strong. Attendance varies between 25 to 30 each month.  Women on the Wings of Faith is for women who may be searching for more in their faith walk. Some women come to meet new Christian friends, and some just come to see what we are all about. There are different messages every month, so we like to say, if you show up that month, maybe you where there for a reason. Perhaps you needed that particular message!

We have noticed that there are a certain number of women who don't like to miss a meeting. We believe we have created a special bond and wonderful friendships and just really enjoy spending time together. We help each other out, we listen to each other, and we trust each other.

When we can, we like to get involved in the community and lend a helping hand. We have also brought into Northern Wisconsin motivational speakers like Bruce Van Natta, who wrote the book, "Saved By Angels". Kathy Troccoli & Ellie Lofaro who brought us,"Spaghetti For the Soul".  In April of 2011 Tammy Trent, who is an Award Winning Inspirational Recording Artist, Author, and Speaker will be coming to share her story. More information can be found by checking out the Upcoming Events.
Christmas Caroling at the local nursing and retirement homes, it's all part of good fellowship and fun. It warms our hearts to see the smiles and to lift the spirits of the wonderful men and women who live at these facilities. 
Our commitment is to inspire and reach out to women and thus having them reach out and  inspire others.
