Women on the Wings of Faith is an inner-denominational group of Christian Women who enjoy sharing and spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. (We are not meeting at this time!)
Fellowship consists of Book ideas, Videos from Women of Faith Conferences., Joyce Meyer, and John Paul Jackson just to name a few. We have speakers occasionally who will come and share different topics with us. We feel that God has blessed us and that He is leading us as He brings us opportunities of sharing Jesus with other women. By God's grace we hope to help other women live from Fear to Faith!
This group was started 10 years ago. Not always strong in numbers, but strong in our Faith. Women on the Wings of Faith is for women who may be searching for more in their faith walk. Some women come to meet new Christian friends, and some come for encouragement and to learn more about what Jesus has for them. There are different messages every month, so we like to say, if you show up that month, maybe you where there for a reason. Perhaps you needed that particular message!
When we can, we like to get involved in the community and lend a helping hand. We have also brought into Northern Wisconsin motivational speakers like Bruce Van Natta, who wrote the book, "Saved By Angels". Kathy Troccoli & Ellie Lofaro who brought us,"Spaghetti For the Soul". In April of 2011 Tammy Trent, an Award Winning Inspirational Recording Artist, Author, and Speaker shared her story. Ian McCormick was our Speaker in 2012. (There s a movie made about Ian's life called, The Perfect Wave). In 2015 we had Author and speaker Sheri Rose Shepherd come for Soul Talk Live. Also, in the last few years we have had Dr. Carol Elaine speak at different events. Check out interesting links for more info!
In December-Christmas Caroling at the local nursing and retirement homes, We like to help spread some Christmas cheer, It's all part of good fellowship and fun. It warms our hearts to see the smiles and to lift the spirits of the wonderful men and women who live at these facilities
